ABOUT THE JOB:
- You will play a crucial role in maintaining our aircraft to ensure they continue to fly safely, punctually, and efficiently;
- Carrying out maintenance checks, repairs, and inspections on our fleet in line with strict regulatory and company standards;
- Collaborating with various teams to swiftly and effectively resolve technical issues;
- Working with complex aircraft systems and ensuring the highest safety standards are upheld;
- Monitoring and certifying the work of colleagues holding an ‘A’ license;
- Contributing actively to enhancing the performance and technical reliability of our aircraft;
- Supporting off-base maintenance when required.
ABOUT YOU:
- Valid EASA Part 66 license, preferably with type rating B1 on the B787 (GenX);
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance is an advantage;
- Strong technical and communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders;
- You have the legal right to work in the EU;
- This position can be based in Bonaire, Curaçao or Aruba;
- Fluent in English, spoken and written (Fluent in Dutch is a big plus);
- A valid driving license (B license required);
- Willing to travel on regular basis between the various stations in the Caribbean and occasionally to Amsterdam for training and experience purposes;
- Flexible to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays, as TUI fly operates daily flights to and from the Dutch Caribbean.
